About Sarah
Therapy Should Feel Human

I believe therapy works best when it feels honest, collaborative, and human. You should be able to show up as yourself, ask questions, laugh when things are awkward, and work through the parts of life that feel harder to handle on your own.
Sarah Bognar, LMHC

How I Approach Therapy

Therapy works best as a collaboration. You’re the expert on your life. I’m here to walk alongside you.
I blend clinical training with practical tools. We’ll examine patterns, thoughts, and experiences while finding ways to make everyday life feel more manageable.
The goal isn’t to change you. It’s to help you separate who you are from who you’ve been told you should be, and feel more at home in yourself.

I’ll challenge you when it’s helpful and support you when you need validation. Growth happens in the balance between the two.
Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all. We’ll move at a pace that feels right for you and adapt as your needs change.
